The Hernandez Research Group lead by Prof. Christopher J. Hernandez is part of the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at University of California, San Francisco. We are part of the Health Innovations Via Engineering (HIVE) center and the UCSF Musculoskeletal Center.
Sam Stephen just completed his PhD at RPI with Deepak Vashsishth and will join us to figure out how the gut microbiome modifies bone matrix
